Fishing terms & conditions of business - Etang de Azat-Chatenet
All anglers and guests must agree to accept these terms and conditions of the booking and to abide by the following rules:
Fishing rules
4 Rod limit.
Rods with a minimum of 2.25 lb test curve.
Main line must be a minimum of 15 lb mono breaking strain.
No sacking of fish.
Large unhooking mats must be wetted and used on all fish.
No fish kill, and all fish should be released with care.
Fish safety must be respected at all times.
Rods must not be left unattended.
Rigs should always allow the lead to release should a breakage occur.
Micro-barbed or barbless hooks for carp fishing.
Bait boats may be used sensibly.
The use of boats is at your own risk, life jackets must be warn at all times.
No leadcore or braided leaders for carp fishing.
No nuts.
Particles must be purchased on site and used in sensible measures.
No lure fishing.
Cat fishing rules
Rods with a minimum of 3 lb test curve.
Hook links must be a reliable material of at least 25 lb.
Strong hooks to be used.
General rules
No swimming or wading.
No cutting of trees or vegetation.
No fires.
Anglers and guests to use toilets provided.
Please ensure that noise is kept to a minimum.
Bins and bags are supplied to keep swims tidy and must be used at all times.
Do not throw any rubbish into the water including cigarette ends & bottle tops.
Terms and conditions
This agreement is to provide a fishing holiday and on receipt of your deposit it will reserve your holiday dates. 30% of the total cost of your holiday is required as your deposit and only on our receipt of the deposit will your holiday dates be reserved.
It is not refundable and the following cancellation charges will apply 30 to 60 days before the trip 70% of the total cost / Less than 30 days 100% of the total cost.
The balance of your holiday cost must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure.
On receipt of your deposit the price of your holiday is guaranteed free of price increase and surcharge.
Force Majeure: Etang de Azat-Chatenet will not be liable for any loss, delay or cancellation resulting from any of the following: WAR, RIOTS, ACTS OF GOD, POLITICAL UNREST, THREAT OF WAR OR TERRORISM, INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES, FIRE, STORM, FLOOD, CLOSURE OF PORTS, WEATHER CONDITIONS or any other event or circumstances beyond our control.
Etang de Azat-Chatenet will not be liable for damage or theft of any fishing tackle or personal property on or off the premises and strongly recommend that you take out appropriate cover.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of a valid passport.
Etang de Azat-Chatenet strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance and vehicle breakdown cover for your trip.
Etang de Azat-Chatenet strongly recommends that all members of the party to have a European health insurance card.
In the unlikely event that you or a member of your party has a complaint please advise management in a civil manner. Complaints can also be noted in writing within 7 days of your return.
We reserve the right to cease providing any services to you or any member of your party if we consider your behaviour likely to cause any harm to other persons or damage to property or you do not abide by the rules laid down or reasonable request from our staff.
The group organiser is responsible for the anglers and guests that they bring. Also for any damage they may cause and to make anglers in their party aware of all rules.
A confirmation letter and receipt for all payments will be sent to the group organiser.
No refund will be given for an early departure.
